Not my first time here (this branch) and definitely not my first time for Arno’s franchise restaurants, I gotta say the quality of food and service today have noticeably dropped.

It will take time to explain why I felt that way but I can give you some examples.

Staff told me 100% fried shrimp with basil is no longer available (it used to be that way), only the mixed squid & shrimp. That’s fine. But I found roughly 70% squid 🦑 and 30% shrimps (see my pic). Very hard to say they are fresh either.

Staff told me I can pay in cash, mobile payment, or credit card but for cash, I have to pay exact amount as they can’t neither find the change nor the cashier at the restaurant. I am fine with that, just a bit upset to feel that it’s my responsibility to bring exact amount of cash to the restaurant. Sound ridiculous.

I kinda understand the current situation (May-22) where the price of everything rises sharply and it’s tough for the restaurant to manage under this circumstance.

My suggestion is to bring back the quality and raise the price if needed. I believe most sane people will understand and simply give more options on price and size of plate.

I am saying this because I have witnessed other restaurants manage to maintain their quality of food & services since Covid-19 in Thailand. And Arno is one of my favorite restaurants too....

beef is great for me, i ordered the Rare Bavette which was so tender and flavorful. Its done perfectly right, would definitely have it again. and for Pad Kaprow, i had the Butcher Cut with Spicy level of spicyness, it was ok but the meat wasnt tender as i expected.
