Davin cafe has topped the highly competitive cafe aesthetics scene in Bangkok with its modernist greek architectural facade. The cafe boasts a high-ceiling, on-theme first floor with a barista counter the size of many smaller cafe establishments, with a staff strength that meets the constant flow of demand dressed in instagrammable clothes with personal Photographers in tow. What’s more, there’s another barista counter on the second floor that is 3/4 the size of the one on the first floor.
Although there was a queue to order drinks and people were scattered over the compound finding the best angles, we were able to find a ground level seat right in front of the barista counter to watch all the action happening. I observed that people spend more time taking photos than eating. I reckon not much word has gotten out to tourists about this place yet, and I saw many considerate locals leave to make way for new customers when they finished their drinks.
We were recommended the coconut cake and the double cheese cake which genuinely tasted of high quality and were light, fluffy, with a natural sweetness that brought out the delicate original flavours of the ingredients. Coffee was normal.
Whoever built Davin cafe must probably have an intense affection for Da Vinci, and for a cafe that’s a 30 mins drive from the heart of Bangkok city, it is a breathtaking dreamscape where art, coffee, and people...
Read moreVery unique and tremendous cafe. A must visit for enjoying the time in Bangkok. The structure was designed with the vibes to the European ruined building completed with some middle age Greek statue. This is the right place for those who like hunting photo or even doing some formal photo session.
The cafe is having only 2 (two) stories, the first floor is for the main entrance and ordering the food, also it has some sitting area. The second floor is designed with the vibes more classical and has jaz music inside.
The food and beverages are good too, just okay for having small chitchat to enjoy the vibes here. And also the prices for them are affordable. Some of the sweet cakes perhaps could be the options for short visit. Peehaps the most recommended cakes there are the yuzu cheese cake, banana chocolate cake. Not forget to mention the drinks, lot of option especially for coffee, with lot of variant coffee beans offered. The dip coffee ice is recommended one.
However, the place is not accessible with the public transport. The nearest one is the BTS Sukhumvit Line (green line), just go off at Kassetsart University Station and take online transport to drive you...

Ambience: Very modern and cozy. It honestly makes you feel like you’re in NYC. Recommended to come here when it’s raining to get the real vibes. If you love matte black, this is a must-go destination!
Crowd: As of now, yeah a lot of ppl come here and it could get quite loud. Not really a great place to study/work, but it is a great place to hangout.
Photoshoot: Yes! You really get great pictures over here, so if you are an Instagram addict, you better come here!
Service: The staff are pretty nice but don’t speak that much of English. But that’s fine because they still help you and things work out at the end of the day. It is self-serving tho and everything comes on time. So yeah the service is...
