Hi! Just wanted to say, I like this place, but just a little story of an incident I experienced here. I tried the almond cake (forgot what it was called) and it was delicious, as well as the Thai tea latte. The price was pretty high, which I'm fine with, because it was a nice cafe. I like going to cafes that are nicely decorated, and most aren't cheap, which is normal anyway. It has a cute vintagyyy romantic feel to it. No major complaints or anything about the food or services, except for the fact that I don't tend to carry a lot of cash with me, or any at all sometimes, so it's an issue in some places. When I entered this one (a few days ago), the first thing I asked them was whether they accept debit cards or not, which they replied yes to. So I proceeded to order the cake and tea. I sat down there quite a long time, doing my work and waiting for someone to pick me up. When it was time to pay, they said that my card can't be accepted, because there's a minimum order of 500 baht. I said no problem, I'll transfer the money then, and they said I can't either. So this ticked me off a little bit, because I actually ASKED them about it......I mean....they could've replied yes, but there's a minimum of 500 baht or something like that...but no....they didn't say anything, even though my order was clearly below 500........they could've at least mentioned it while I was ordering.............................so yea....1 star off just because of that. The place and everything was pretty ok otherwise...... Luckily I had cash in my bag, that my friend gave to me to buy something for her, so I had to borrow that cash to pay first, because they didn't accept my card. Imagine how much more annoying it would be if I didn't carry that cash that day. I mean..it's pretty obvious that you should inform your customers about things like this instead of ambushing them, or...i don't know......not informing about everything....Would I go there again? Sure.....but pls don't do this again, especially if someone ASKS about it....at least now I know I need to carry cash with me, if I want to just order a drink or...
Read moreWe were visiting the muay thai next door and saw this beautiful little cafe. It is so pretty with white furniture, tea cup themed chandeliers, flowers and more. They serve dessert sweets and thai influenced lunches. It would be best described as whimsical. Owned by a Thai Rnb celebrity, she certainly has style. The food was really good, particularly the sticky rice balls and chicken. The tea was also good, you select your type after smelling the aromas and they make. The earl grey...
Read moreLove the deco and ambience. It's so well decorated inside and outside. Can tell that a lot of effort went into this place. Never crowded. There's always seats. Sadly the food and coffee were average. There's nothing fantastic about it other than the deco. Ordered a banana vanilla protein shake after training at Khongsittha and i don't think they put much protein powder cos I didn't...
