I'm having a big party with friends, so we need a place to hang out - not too big, nor too small. One of my friends suggested, "Let's go to an Izakaya this time."

Izakaya Taro was our chosen one. To be honest, our table was located all the way in the inner part of the restaurant, right next to the restroom and kitchen, making it a high-traffic area. I was okay with that, to some extent.

However, what I wasn't quite okay with was the seating arrangement. The party table was too small for eight people, forcing us to squeeze ourselves into the limited space.

The rest of the experience was enjoyable; the food was a bit salty for my taste, but it paired well with the beers and the company of friends. Everybody had a great time. So I can't really...

Great live music, really impressed ! 👍🏻 Feels like a cozy Japanese izakaya after work.

Most of the food was delicious. Highly recommend the cabbage with anchovy, soy-braised pork belly, and quail egg skewers.

Staff were friendly and polite.
