Krua Khun Ein is an absolute gem for those seeking bold, authentic Southern Thai cuisine in Bangkok. The dishes are crafted with passion, packed with flavors, and stay true to Southern roots — spicy, aromatic, and unapologetically rich.

Here’s what we ordered and loved:

Stir-fried Kai-Krob (Salted Egg Yolks) with Fresh Chili A rare Southern delicacy. The salted egg yolks were creamy and rich, stir-fried with fresh chili and herbs — spicy, savory, and incredibly fragrant.

Red Curry with Hed Kraeng Mushrooms and Fresh Shrimp A unique dish featuring hed kraeng, a Southern mushroom with a pleasantly chewy, clam-like texture. The curry was vibrant, spicy, and deeply aromatic — a highlight of the meal.

Stir-fried Pork with Sataw (Stink Beans) and Shrimp Paste One of the best versions I’ve had in Bangkok! The pork was tender, the stink beans crunchy, and the shrimp paste pungent in the most satisfying way.

Deep-Fried Pork with Shrimp Paste A comforting dish with crispy edges and juicy center, infused with bold Southern-style shrimp paste.

Sago in Sticky Rice Soup with Longan and Young Coconut A warm, mellow dessert. The roasted coconut aroma, tender young coconut flesh, and sweetness from longan made it a soothing finish.

The restaurant has a casual, clean atmosphere with friendly service and quick kitchen turnaround. Plenty of parking is available, making it convenient for family or group dining.

อัปเดต. มาทานช่วงสงกรานต์2567 รสชาติและคุณภาพอาหารเปลี่ยนไปในทางแย่ลง ปีกไก่ทอดแม้จะอร่อยเหมือนเดิมแต่ให้จำนวนชิ้นน้อยลงและเล็กลงเห็นได้ชัด ไข่เจียวแฟบฟีบลงจากที่เคยกรอบฟูและมีปริมาณเนื้อไข่เจียวมากกว่านี้ ผัดสะตอปริมาณลดลง แกงเหลืองปลากะพงยังดีคงเดิม ร้านนี้ทานมานานกว่า10ปี หวังว่าคุณภาพที่ลดลงครั้งนี้เป็นเพียงชั่วคราวหรือเพราะแม่ครัวกลับบ้านช่วงสงกรานต์ เว้นสักพักแล้วเอาไว้ลองกลับมาทานใหม่

อาหาร​ใต้รสจัด​ เมนูหลากหลาย​ มีที่จอดรถเยอะพอสมควรประมาณสิบคัน หรือจอดริมถนนภายในได้ครับ อาหารใต้รสเผ็ดร้อนร้านประจำของที่บ้าน ชอบเมนูปีกไก่ทอดซึ่งจะโรยหอมเจียวมาด้วย แกงส้มยอดมะพร้าว สะตอผัดกะปิกุ้ง อร่อยมาก มีผักเครื่องเคียงมาให้กับน้ำพริกถ้วยเล็กๆไม่คิดเงิน จอดรถบริเวณหน้าร้านได้ประมาณ20คัน
