The Link Food Farmacy — Restaurant in Mae Hong Son Province

It is situated a little bit outside the main area of Pai centre and this make the place quiet and close to nature walk. Easy to reach town by foot, 20min walk or 3min by scooter. Food is guaranteed organic. Fruits and vegetables are being cared of by a self taught passionate for gardening and processing the garden wonders. Introducing Ms Ling, a very nice lady, full of resources and always happy to talk about her creations. i.e mango vinegar, lime shampoo, flowers for salad, tisanes and formula, etc. You won't find this place on agoda or else. My bungalow was ok, small covered area outside with view on the garden. Plenty birds singing. Speaking of the garden, trees were trimmed and I think they did it too much on that. It would have make the place even better with few trees left untouched. My view. No mosquito net but hot shower, wifi, restaurant open all day,...

Wonderful food experience at the link. The cook/owner was extremely friendly, gave us great recommendations on the menu and after ordering gave us a tour of her garden. Everything she makes is cooked fresh from her garden (some of which we picked ourselves!).

We got two juices, the link and mango/passion fruit which were delicious. For food we ordered morning glory, an eggplant red curry and chicken kra Pao all of which were flavorful and spiced just right.

Preparation did take a little longer, but everything was made fresh. Take the time to enjoy the garden, dishes and organic products she personally makes (ie shampoo, soap, insect repellant, mango vinegar).

❗️ FOOD POISONING ❗️

after coming to Thailand for five years, three months at a time, I had my first food poisoning here, I am sure it was from this place because I had lunch here and didn’t eat anything until 6 pm from which time the food poisoning started. I think it was from gone off tofu or textured protein, because it tasted a little bit weird when I was eating it.

I’m still giving three stars because I really enjoyed meeting the owner of the restaurant, she is incredible and made really tasty food and special juice from Gac fruit and passionfruit, and I’m sure that was not her intention to serve any kind of food, however this was unfortunately the case.
