CONCLUSION: Well, if you only want to visit a nice ‘nature place’ this one might be OK for you. - But if you are also looking to ‘feel welcome’, we recommend going to other places.
DETAILS: Today we dropped by at this Café. We first wanted to check out the outdoor area, but the staff insisted that we need to order and pay first before we can go and see to the outdoor area. – So, we first ordered and paid. Read moreThis is indeed a very unique café to be found surrounding the many hidden creeks of Khoa Yai. Visiting early for that morning coffee, the air was fresh and cool. The café serves that much needed caffeine and an assortment of beautifully arranged sweet desserts such as waffles and honey butter toast. The estate is extensive and covers a camping ground filled with tents of all sorts in the cool month we were here. Beyond the open green garden next to the café is a hidden creek with beautiful cascading waterfalls. This café packs a lot, it even has a playground which parents finds to our delight. And then there was the colorful tractor train which brought us on a rattling joy ride for a very small fee. There is also a food shack featuring a small menu that serves iconic Thai dishes such as kapow (spicy Thai basil) meat dishes. So, the place is good for a local lunch, or one could get burgers from the main cottage where the coffee is served. Getting here is easy as it is just off a well-travelled road. Drinks, snacks, meals and lots to do, a very worthwhile venue to add to your travel plans...
