The other reviews are a year old and maybe they haven't had experience with Thai accommodations. This place has already taken too much of my time, but as I have benefitted from the advice of others, I decided to add my opinion. The bungalows, while cute from the outside and in pictures, are just plain grim on the inside. Harder than hard bed; no bench or furniture for suitcases; no place for toiletries unless you count the top of the refrigerator. Someone's used towel was left hanging in the wardrobe; towels are dingy; television 20 years out of date. The place was put together on the cheap and it shows. The water probably has a lot of minerals in it--all the fixtures have buildup, however, there are ways to deal with this. The shower is scary--a nasty hand-held plastic shower and black stuff in the corners. When I asked for a better room clean the older woman just shrugged. She likes to sit in the back and count money.||The owners have had the property for 30 years. Seven years ago they built the bungalows. When you don't maintain property and it was cheaply built to begin with, deterioration happens. The decks are in bad shape--watch those slivers. ||The owners grow all kinds of lovely fruits but these don't appear on the breakfast table. Read moreFrom the outside the cabin looks ok. But the room inside is a bit shabby and in need of a refurb. It is also too small and poor value for money with no bedside table, no wardrobe, no desk or chair inside the room, the crt tv (yes, crt, that will give you an idea of how old it is!!) does not work, the bathroom sink is way too small and ackward to use and the shower is useless with about 80% of the head nozzles blocked and even with tap on full the water just trickles out. Then there are the 3 doorways - the main doorway into the cabin plus the 2 doorways to get into the shower room - the low height means that you have to duck down each time you go in and go out otherwise you will bang your head on the door frame. This is unacceptable. I am 184cm tall ie about average height for a westerner (I currently live in Nonthaburi in a condo unit and each room has plenty of headspace for me). The breakfast was ok.
Overall, very very disapointing. Would I go back? No way, even if...
