But once I got past that, and tasted some of the food, it turned right around. The curry was very spicy so make sure to ask for more mild food if you have a sensitive (read: Western) palate. You can always add chilies later.
It was raining heavily when we arrived so we stayed awhile. We sat at a table along the river and watched a fisherman wade through the water and avoid some large lizards. After our meal we played some of the arcade games, which were endearingly outdated but fun nonetheless. This is a place where you take your time and explore a little bit.

However, once you find the place, it is paradise for those who enjoy little knick knacks featuring a blast from the past!
