Daya's Eatery — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

This is the new Dayas eatery location and what a location it is !! I must add that due to the current road works and the usual lack of signs it can be difficult to get to ( forget Google maps 🙄) Ok so once we worked out the road system we arrived at the lovely new building - the inside does not make you think of a burger place but more of a very decent restaurant. Plenty of seating both upstairs and downstairs and we chose upstairs to get a better view of the place The usual staff hovering over my shoulder waiting for my order before I had even read the menu ! My wife sent the waiter to fetch some drinks so we could browse without the pressure we felt. Ok we ordered the food 1 X Cheeseburger 1 X Volcano Burger 1 X Veggie pizza Our fourth member had to dash off on an emergency 😮 Anyway I have to say the food was served in good time and presented nicely 👍 One point I must make - the burgers with the very small portion of fries/chips come on a very small plate and it's a skill to keep your food on the plate ! Either give side plates or bigger plates for the food - just a suggestion. Going back to the chips/fries, this is an issues discussed by most farang - 6 or 7 fries is not a portion and never will be, but it's pretty standard in Korat but not other tourist areas 🤔 Enough said on that ! The food was consumed and all were happy 👍 Let's talk prices - now I know somebody has to pay for this lavish building but I have concerns how often people will return to pay these prices for a burger 🍔 My bill for 3 people was almost 1400 baht ( including 3 soft drinks) and as a treat that's fine but not something I will do often 🤔 I have no doubt I will return but this is not a regular choice I...

Daya’s cafe is the hidden gem of Korat Thailand. This had to the best surprise since our arrival in Korat a few days ago. The food and service was superb! It’s clean, the owners (staff) were down to earth (friendly) and the food was very delicious. Aside from the great burgers, we ordered various other pastas and pizzas. We were amazed each time food was brought to our table with the presentation and great tastes….party of 6 relatives.

This trip to Korat won’t be our last and Daya’s is a certain stop from now on when we arrive in town.

Message to owner: Thank you so much for the hospitable atmosphere, relaxing soul music and wonderful dinners. We will stop by on our way out to try the breakfast in the morning. We’re definitely glad to have found your cafe and it was a pleasure to meet your family also.

We have been here now more than a couple of times, this is to place to have a nice lunch. Staff is very polite. The cook is fantastic. The quality of the food is outstanding. Weather it is just a full breakfast (which is big) or just a simple thai dish, all is very well prepared and tastes fantastic. It may not be the cheapest place to go to, but together with my thai almost never have a bill higher than 700 thb total. The place itself is very clean and has some interesting seats and tables.
