Faifo oldtown cafe and floral — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Not many places in Korat that are cool and hop and interesting to be honest......or maybe I am wrong, but anyway this place was worth a look. On a slow dog day afternoon, we rolled upto this place that was instantly both amusing and striking. Before we had even entered there were groups of young girls and not so young girls, taking selfie, after selfie, after selfie.... What could it ever mean?

Upon entering the cafe, we had noticed that everywhere and everything was laid out for Halloween, with bunting and scare all around. Excellent and hats off to whoever did the hard work in decorating it, a job very well done.

The building itself is pretty old so it worked well with the gothic and horror schtick. So this brought many to the cafe for the simple task of taking the perfect selfie for Halloween. I admit I took a few photos myself, ha ha, but I also ordered a lemonade (I didn't see many order anything!)

My order took forever, and the young men working behind the counter were doing the act of looking busy without actually doing anything. Impressive! Can't complain too much as there was an older lady (the owner?) who was very friendly and kind enough to help with some photos.

strawberry basque burnt cheesecake (110 thb) - อร่อยดีค่ะ ชิ้นเล็กนิด แต่ตอนสั่งชื่อภาษาอังกฤษ พนักงงานงงค่ะ บอกไม่มีเมนูนี้ ยืนยันว่าไม่มี จนชี้ให้ดู พนักงานบอก อ๋อ เค้กหน้าไหม้..ค่ะ

matcha honey lemon (80 thb) - รสชาติทั่วๆ ไป แต่มะนาวปลอมมาก

— หลังสั่งไปประมาณ 20 นาที เรายังไม่ได้เครื่องดื่มค่ะ คนในร้านไม่เยอะ เลยเดินไปบอกว่า ยังไม่ได้เครื่องดื่มนะคะ ได้รับคำตอบจากพนักงานผู้ชายว่า “กำลังทำอยู่นี่ไง”

คิดว่าคงไม่มาอีกค่ะร้านนี้...
