Absolutely Terrible – Never Going Back to Ida’s Eatery & Pub

Avoid this place like the plague. Ida’s Eatery in Phimai was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The food was straight-up awful — tasted like it came out of a microwave or worse, the trash. Everything we ordered was either cold, undercooked, or just plain disgusting. Even something as simple as fries came out soggy and stale.

The hygiene? Questionable at best. Dirty tables, sticky menus, and a weird smell coming from the kitchen — not exactly confidence-inspiring. I honestly felt uneasy eating anything there.

The staff didn’t help either. Completely disinterested, slow, and borderline rude. We waited forever for drinks and even longer for food that wasn’t worth the wait. No smile, no welcome, just bad vibes all around.

As for the “pub” part — don’t expect much. The atmosphere was dead, drinks were overpriced and warm, and the whole place felt like it was falling apart.

There are plenty of better, cleaner, friendlier spots in Phimai. Ida’s is a total disaster. Save your time, your stomach, and your sanity....

Great bar and restaurant which has a really nice ambiance they have a good selection of chilled beers and a wide selection of cocktails. Good service and very friendly staff.

The food we had was great also very tasty Thai dishes and a selection of steaks if that’s what you would like.

The location is literally 5 minutes walk from the Phimai historical park.

There are only a few places to eat in Phimai at night, but this place was nice. They have a large menu of both Thai and Western(ish) food. They also have an extensive cocktail list. I can recommend...
