Jewel of Phimai National Museum. 💎😍🇹🇭
The wonderful precious gems of ancient Khmer art collection put on display at Phimai National Museum, Thailand. 💎😍 A look inside the Phimai National Museum:
The Phimai National Museum in northeast Thailand has just completed a revamp of their substantial ancient Khmer art collection (which they term as Lopburi art from 7th-13th centuries). The museum is an offshoot of nearby Prasat Phimai, one of the most important Khmer Empire temples built outside the borders of today’s Cambodia. Located in Nakhon Ratchasima province, which is often termed as Khorat or Isan, the museum has a remarkable collection of narrative lintels and its showpiece statue of Jayavarman VII, one of many distributed throughout the extended Khmer kingdom in the late 12th century.

Ideal for people who have a sincere interest in archaeology and who want to pay a visit to the museum with the actual Historical Park not too far from here, they'll probably not ideal for people with short attention spans or young kids who have no interest in reading...
