It was a normal Monday. We managed to enter the hotel’s premise and into this café. Previously, we have tried coming on a long weekend. The car park was full, and the queue of cars was so long we gave up. Yes, Trot Café is very popular. They have horses here grazing next to the café (no weird smell fortunately). There are also short My Little Ponies around. Other than making friends with horsey and pony, what makes this place extra fun for many are the ATV and motorized vintage car rides. There are several different sizes of those cars for rent. For us family of three, we had to take on a bigger one to fit us all. Price differs according to size of cars. And we got to self-drive 30 minutes on the tracks that meanders around the golf course. As for the ATVs, it is a guided tour and they leave in batches whenever there are enough riders to form a group. Even though it was a Monday with supposedly less crowd, there were still a lot of people. The wait for our ride was a queue of 2 hours. So, if you are eyeing a ride, on arrival, go make a reservation first, then go off to the café to chill while you wait your turn. This place is also part of Rancho Charnvee Resort and Country Club. Majority of the visitors were locals and there were also a significant number of Asian...
Read moreNow when I visited this place the first impressions were great the place had a great atmosphere and also the ponies at the front where very cute however one we got in the cafe area was so crowded with a line of people waiting right next to the tables which is not very nice. Once we got our desserts it was delicious we ordered the pancakes and coconut cake and the coffee was nice but it took a really long time to arrive, it was slightly over priced the service is also mid. After we ate we went to the activities area where we waited in line for about 7-10 minutes where we got turned down by the not very pleasant clerk to drive the classic car because we were not yet 18 years old yet this is fair however quite the cars don’t really go that fast the top speed is not much faster than a good sprint and it’s on closed roads this is also the same for the atvs so as we went back to our table we saw some kid maybe 13 or 14 years old speed down the track in the electric scooter thing while people were walking so I don’t understand why they let this happen but yeah. The parking situation is also not very good but they do have golf carts. Over all not the best place but come if you are over 18 as I think it would...

Worst experience in Thailand trip.. 🙄
We wanted a ride in the vintage car and scooter.. took 2 scooters each for the kid and 1 vintage car ride for me and my wife..
Only 10mins into the drive, the battery died.. wr were stranded and been asking for help. We managed to call someone to contact front desk.. they came and the maintenance check and took 10mins to deliver another battery to change for the car..
They only offer to top up 10mins for the loss time and argued that its fair as the maintenance only took 10mins..
But told them that from the time we are stranded and looking around for help its already 10+mins gone.. they claimed that loss time shouldn't be calculated under theirs... ans told that there are others waiting in the queue for that car.. 🙄😡
It was the MOST unpleasant experience and moment of the entire trip.. where their negligence is charged under our loss..
No doubt the scenery is nice.. but the mood is foiled by the staffs.. everything else is just sucks...
Never am I going to visit...
