Wild Cafe and Restaurant — Restaurant in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

My first time is this very modern clean and stylish restaurant First comment goes to the very nice polite staff that greeted our party of 4 and gave us a choice of tables. Drink orders were taken and the they left us to look at the menu with no pressure ( this point is missed in most restaurants in Thailand- they stand over you to take your order from a menu you have never seen before ) Well we all chose our food plus a starter to share ! The photos attached show the food more than my words could describe ! I’m afraid due to a hopefully short term medical issue I had to go for a salad and nobody on this planet can get over excited about a salad 🤣😂 Anyway the food was extremely yummy and 4 clean plates were cleared away before 2 choc ice creams and 2 choc mousse were presented to us - also very yummy. If there is a negative to this review it will be the coffee - Luke warm Latte not really acceptable to your average Farang customer ! I accept the point that you are not coffee experts and leave that to the coffee places but if you can’t make it then don’t sell it ! Sorry Now for more good points - this place has a small pool that you can use if you bring your shorts/Bikini whilst you sip cocktails or whatever - nice seating area around the pool and a clean shower available 👍 The toilets are some of the cleanest I have seen outside of the big shopping malls and I can only hope you maintain the high standards you have presented now 👏 The entire lunch experience was a real pleasure and if you wish to treat your wife/husband/partner then this is the place to go Note: I didn’t eat the burgers or steak available but I may not be able to resist on my next visit 🤔They look so good ! WILD Cafe and Restaurant truly stand in a league of their own! The quality of their produce, the perfection of their cooking, the balance of flavors, and their reasonable prices set them apart from any other establishment in Korat. The owners, chef, and front-of-house staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall delightful experience. Don't miss out on their interesting wine, beer, and cider options that perfectly complement the meal!

Highlights from my visits include:

Burrata with Heirloom Tomatoes: This dish was a burst of freshness, with a tantalizing hint of pesto that had me almost licking the plate. The cheese was incredibly soft, making it the perfect appetizer to awaken the taste buds. My only wish was for a slightly larger portion, as I reluctantly had to share it with others.

Wagyu Mushroom Truffle Burger: The flavors of this burger were so exceptional, and the bun was delightfully light, that I almost forgot it was a burger. I can confidently say it's the tastiest burger in Korat.

Pappardelle Salsiccia (Pasta): The pasta surpassed my expectations and rivaled even the best pasta dishes I've had, including those in Australia. The truffle flavor was perfectly balanced, and the combination of flavors was simply wonderful. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

Salmon Tarragon: This well-crafted dish showcased interesting elements, although it may have been slightly creamy for Thai palates accustomed to lighter fare, especially after enjoying other cheesy or saucy dishes. Nevertheless, I must commend the impeccable cooking of the salmon, as it surpassed any other I've had in Thailand. It's a dish I would gladly order again on its own.

With the abundance of new dining options in Korat, it's easy to feel spoiled for choice. However, I strongly recommend placing WILD Cafe and Restaurant at the top...

Wild Cafe and Restaurant - A Hidden Gem in Korat.

Wild Cafe and Restaurant truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. The ambience is inviting and well-designed – a perfect 10/10.

I ordered the spicy burger, salmon risotto, and pork tenderloin, and each dish was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The flavors were spot-on, and I have to say – the spicy burger might just be the best in the Korat area.

The restaurant is located in one of the nicer neighborhoods near Mayfair Market, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a quality meal. I enjoyed the food so much that I came back the very next day with a few friends – and they were equally impressed.

The staff are friendly, and some speak English, which makes communication smooth. If needed, using a translator app works just fine too.

Highly recommended – Wild Cafe is a must-visit for anyone in the area looking for great food and atmosphere.
