The honey shibuya is just unbelievably good. It’s a balance of many opposites. Sweet from the honey and the ice cream and saltiness, hot from the deep-fried toast and cold from the ice cream. The bread is soft and saturated in the middle, soft and fluffy just beyond that but crispy golden on the outside.
We also had the strawberry cheesecake kakigori which is another amazing dish. It’s similar to a shaved ice but as I understand it it’s shaved frozen milk. It’s simultaneously dense and airy and creamy but light. The whole thing is covered with a delicious strawberry jam and filled with cheesecake bits.
