AJ Bar and Grill Nongkahai — Restaurant in Nong Khai Province

This is an excellent little bar that my friend and I stumbled into. Beer is very cold. They have a food menu that is fantastic. The proportions are very large with a very cheap price. Absolutely recommend that if you're in this part of town to stop by here and have a beer or maybe even lunch or dinner, I do see on the menu that they serve breakfast, but I can't comment on that because I have not tried. More to follow, I will probably be there tomorrow for breakfast. PS there seems to be a lot of foreigners that know this...

Very good service, but as i was the only customer it's to be expected. They offer a good and varied menu of both Western and Thai dishes. I had the full Irish breakfast, not bad, but far from good. Some of the ingredients were the cheapest available, Ayam beans, margerine rather than butter, the bread was tiny slices and very sweet. As for the chips, they were soft, cold, and similar to what you get in McDonalds, not much bigger than matchsticks. If i return, then rather than a breakfast i will try one of the many other dishes...

Nice place with a friendly atmosphere. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. There is plenty of seating. As an open air facility, you can smoke anywhere. The beers were cold and the food was good. While the cheese burger was a bit messing while eating, it was very good. As where the fries (chips). Was very surprised to see 10 shrimp for the price! Thank you for that. The place has a nice view of the Mekong and we were lucky enough to come on a day when there were fireworks...
