Flann O'Brien's Irish Pub — Restaurant in Pak Kret District

Around 4 years ago this location was one of my favorite places to dine and enjoy a few good beers with my friends, I'm afraid now I could barely be more disappointed with it. About a year ago I stopped going with my friends as it seemed every time we went they had neglected to properly stock their food and drink items. No one goes to an Irish pub to drink Tiger beer. Good food can be had elsewhere at cheaper prices, but the combination of good food with a cold Guinness or Kilkenny pint made them stand out. I returned for the first time in a year to give this place one last chance about a week ago and as soon as my company went to order drink items, the list of things that were out of stock began flowing... We were able to order food but left soon after finishing. I asked the staff if that day had been especially busy, and they replied that it hadn't, only that not enough supplies had been ordered that week. I understand stocking expensive imported beer can be risky, but consistently under-stocking your location is absolutely no way to run a restaurant. The final insult is the fact that they have treated their customer base thusly, and even at that have raised prices far beyond what they have been in the past. As it is now, I regrettably could not recommend this...

A western brand pub with Irish theme serving upmarket steaks, appetizers, spaghetti and most popular western food. It offers imported and local liquors and beers, ciders, soft drinks, mineral water and popular house cocktails as well as its own house-brewed beer and well known Dutch and Irish beers. There are seating both outdoors and indoors including smoking areas outside and bar with high chairs inside. Everything is to the visitor's liking except too early last order closing well before 11 p.m. It is more ideal for early night dining and socializing rather than late...

The restaurant is located inside the Impact Arena, making it convenient to visit right after an exhibition. The service is fast, and the prices are quite high, but there’s a good selection of beer.

The BBQ ribs were okay, but there was way too much sauce. The sausages were tasty, but the mashed potatoes served with them were terrible—they were made from instant mix, which I find unacceptable for this price range. The table wasn’t very clean, and the floor was dirty and sticky—you could even hear your shoes...
