Matti’s is hands down one of the best venues in town!!! They get everything right here: Farm to table (from the owners family farm), unpretentious, down to earth, cool but not try hard, healthy but not Gwyneth Paltrow level healthy (so you can find anything from vegan to light to comfort food), ingredients that are as fresh as possible (I haven’t had such a high quality chicken breast ever since I was at my grandmas farm as a child), excellent prices and value for money, portions that are actually human sized, healthy and very attractively priced groceries and a lovely selection of good and affordable wines. Music is also amazing.
On top of that, the owners (two extremely friendly and down to earth sisters) put their blood sweat and tears into the place - they know it inside out, they work on the floor, in back of house and are genuinely lovely and excellent hosts. In a city like Bangkok which has an unlimited array of F&B offerings, Matti’s manages to stand out - it’s different, it’s cool, it’s friendly and it’s delicious. I hope they spread to more locations so more people can experience the authenticity the sisters and their team bring to the F&B scene!!
The truffle kale pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was the perfect - not too light, not too heavy; the fries were perfect (not frozen), the jalapeño poppers were to die for (spicy, cheesy, gooey, freshly fried and not frozen!!!); Jim Jaew was insanely good.
Can’t wait...
Read moreThe quality is far beyond the price. I ordered duck confit salad and mushroom soup together as a set. The duck confit was basically unbeatable comparing to 4-5 star restaurants in bkk city center. I also like the salad that it had various kinds of vegetables which made it more enjoyable than usual boring salad that has 2-3 kinds.
I am a big fan of mushroom soup and I would recommend this dish to whom are looking for western cuisine style. It was thick, creamy and flavorful. At its price at 80 thb at this quality, it is like winning a lottery.
This place can be a choice for people who look for western and healthy food in the middle of the noodle land in Muang Thong Thani that you see only noodle shops ( I also love noodle though) It is a lovely place to mingle with your friends with a heart- warming decoration. And of course, every plates are instagramable ;)

Read moreThis restaurant focuses on fresh vegetables, vegan options, and made-to-order dishes, staying true to its concept: "Mom grows, kids cook." It's an interesting idea, reminiscent of a well-known veggie-focused restaurant from Chiang Mai.
I’d seen so many glowing reviews that I had to try it. The atmosphere is beautifully decorated, perfectly capturing the Christmas and New Year vibes. The menu leans heavily towards Western dishes with a touch of Thai fusion. However, the prices are quite high for the location.
Taste is subjective, of course, but I came in with high expectations that weren’t fully met. While they use excellent ingredients, some dishes were creamy but lacked bold flavors. The salad greens felt a bit dry—not as fresh and juicy as I’d hoped.
On the plus side, the staff was lovely, friendly, and gave great recommendations. Parking is either along the road or in front of the restaurant if you’re lucky enough to...
