Mae La Kitchen — Restaurant in Pak Kret District

So so good! Just a short taxi ride from the Novotel and you get delicious Thai food. They don’t speak English but they have an English menu with everything translated!!!

Their Green curry with chicken was AMAZING with the fragrance of lime leaves and basil (it’s our favourite Thai dish overseas and we were licking the bottom). Fried fish cakes were plump, juicy and flavourful too. Papaya salad was so so, but their menu is so long we’re going to come back to try everything!!!

We went in the early evening after a long walk at a trade show in Impact, so there weren’t any queues and food was fairly quick. We ordered the Winged Bean Salad, Fried Oyster Omelette and their stirfried squid with salted egg.

I've been there late afternoon about 4pm Saturday. No customer inside restsurant. Place was nice, comfortable and clean. A lot of staff but not so attentive.
