Taste good but RUDE and bad attitude.
This restaurant offers customer to buy live seafood from the wet market and allow customers to request their preferred cooking method in the restaurant. The food tastes good; however, a lady at the entrance, who takes orders for live seafood and appears to be unfriendly, has a bad attitude.
We placed our order through a young man, including specific cooking instructions for a dish. Unfortunately, the last dish, the steamed crab roe, took quite a while to arrive, and when it did, it was prepared as salted fried crab roe instead. (They claimed this was salted but it looked like curry). Upon raising the issue with the restaurant, the chubby lady which was taking order at the entrance immediately denied any error and insisted that it was our mistake. She claimed proficiency in Chinese, English, and Thai and therefore she will not take the instruction wrongly.
This situation left us extremely upset. While we understand that misunderstandings can occur with food orders, it is unacceptable for the lady to raise her voice towards customers, especially without offering an apology. Additionally, we did not place our order through her, but rather through the young man, as she was occupied with another order.
Other staffs such as cashier and servants are normal except this lady...
Read moreArrived at 11:00 on a Saturday; ordered four dishes: fish soup in lemon grass, squid stirred fried with salt egg yolk, shrimp sashimi, and fried fish with garlic. All outstanding: service was courteous, order came quickly, the food was tasty and inexpensive (each dish at 100-125 baht).
When I read reviews, I start with the worst 1-star (with the idea that if I could tolerate or get around the worst situation, everything else would be gravy.) Having read just about all the worst reviews of the top rated (4.0) seafood restaurants in Na Klua, I discovered that the majority were complaining about bad service: took 2 hours for the food to come; and not to our table but to the one next to us who came later; the fat lady scolded us when we complained… etc. If ALL seafood restaurants were that bad, how could they survive? It must have been the time of the day that got everyone all riled up: hungry customers, busy and heated kitchen, and over-worked servers. So, arriving an hour before the normal mess as l time turned out to be the...
Read moreHaving lived in Pattaya for two years, we've tried our fair share of seafood, but Nana Seafood at Nakluea Market has truly set a new standard. This place is absolutely wonderful! The food here is simply delicious and incredibly fresh. You can genuinely taste that the seafood was caught the same day – it makes all the difference. We ordered several dishes, and everything was fantastic. The garlic crab was particularly divine; it was so good we could have eaten it all night! We also enjoyed the crab fried rice, which was perfectly flavored. A helpful tip for future visitors: I highly recommend getting there before 7 PM to ensure they have the full selection of seafood you might be craving. It's a popular spot for good reason! We will absolutely be going back to Nana Seafood. If you're in Pattaya and looking for the best, freshest seafood experience, this is the...
