Local seafood restaurant with very reasonable price, wonderful & friendly service and most important of all — very fresh seafood! Located right at the entrance of fishermen community (if you’re lucky, you might spot them doing sun-dried fish)
Don’t miss “Pla Wua (triggerfish)” if they are available, have it deep-fried with bit of fragrant fish sauce (“Tod Naam Pla”). Grouper meat was the freshest I have ever had in 30yrs (we ordered “Tom Yum Naam Sai” — Tom Yum soup with no coconut milk) Squid in black (“Pla Muek Naam Dam”) is a must, and do enjoy lovely fresh blue crab which they remove the shell for you. Next time I will try tairagai sashimi!
They also offer some herbal drink as well to accompany the food. I tried Roselle which was very nice (20thb and you got a huge glass)
Payment — No service charge/VAT. Accepts cash or transfer (they have QR code readily shown on each table :) )
Parking — Now this is the only tricky part. We hired a driver for the whole trip so it was not much an issue. My personal favorite has got to be mackerel top with chili (forgot to take photos as we were too hungry). The chili is done really really well and out of this world! The crab cake is another of my favorite as well!

Read moreProbably one of the worst thai food I’ve ever had. Been coming to Thailand for 20 years and always ate at local places. This place was local so was not anything new to me. I had found plastic in my food, things were served cold so I assume it was frozen. When I had peeled the shrimp, you could smell the inside of the shrimp smelt like floor cleaner — which says a lot about quality / content of pesticides. Fried rice is something that is quite hard to make it taste awful but here it was just really really bad. Poor service, poor hygiene. Personally do not recommend and unfortunately had a very different experience from other reviewers. Would give it 0...
