Excellent Italian Sunday roast. I have never had an Italian Sunday roast dinner before and having grown up in the UK with English style Sunday roasts, it ended up also becoming a bit of a cultural experience. The food is served on one large plate with slices of roast beef, pork, Italian sausages, chicken breast and roast vegetables (not classic English style where you can choose which meat), accompanied with a large bowl of Italian sauce made from the juices of the meats, Italian herbs, vegetables, which are then all blended and chilled. Initially, I did not know what to make of it but kept an open mind and began eating the meal. The first thing that strikes is how everything is of very high quality and how the lightness of the olive oil and Italian herbs matches perfectly with the quality of the food giving a subtlety to the taste and appreciation of the food that a lot of English style roasts lack, due largely to over salting or the use of hot gravy. I grew to appreciate the chilled sauce during the course of the meal. The stand outs were the Italian sausages which were fantastic and the roast beef where it was clear that there was a lot of attention to ensuring that the beef that they had selected, was high quality as well as how long it required roasting to compliment it. I ended up really enjoying the meal and the subtle explosions of flavor and how everything tied together really well. Italians, just like the Thais are world famous for their cuisine and this place does not disappoint. I am really glad that we have a top, authentic Italian restaurant in the Pratamnak neighborhood, given my experience of their...
Read moreA Delightful Italian Dining Experience at Al Fiore Ristorante Italiano
From the moment we stepped into Al Fiore Ristorante Italiano and were welcomed by owner Fiorenzo and his Chef Alberto and their team we knew we were in for something special. The warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect stage for an unforgettable meal, elevated by the restaurant’s attentive and friendly service.
We started with a selection of cold cuts and cheese, a beautifully curated platter showcasing rich flavors and high-quality ingredients. Next came the Pizza Napoletana, an absolute delight with its perfect crust, balanced toppings, and authentic taste.
The true highlight of the evening, however, was the Pappardelle al Cacao with Gorgonzola, Mascarpone, and Walnuts. This dish was simply extraordinary—silky, flavorful, and masterfully balanced between the earthy depth of the cocoa pasta and the creamy, tangy richness of the cheeses. Each bite was indulgence at its finest.
To complement our meal, we enjoyed a selection of wines, including Pinot Grigio, Primitivo, and Barbera. Each glass paired wonderfully with our dishes, enhancing the experience even further.
With its exceptional food, impeccable service, and warm atmosphere, Al Fiore Ristorante Italiano is a true gem. Whether you're looking for a casual yet refined dining experience or a place to savor the best of Italian cuisine, this restaurant delivers on all fronts. Highly...
Read moreI think this is one of Pattaya’s most underrated restaurants . I have had a chance to go a few times now and try different dishes each time and speak with Chef Alberto. This is someone who really cares and thinks about what he is serving to his guests. And it shows in the food. I think a great pizza starts with the dough and his is lovely . A great bite to it and a softness, it’s a wonderful balance , then quality ingredients all around . The ravioli was hand made and so subtle and the guanciale was a lovely salty chewy crunchy contrast to the butter sauce. His tiramisu is one of if not the best I’ve had. Last time we were four people and all of us were smiling and nodding yes with each new dish . Worth a trip...
