KINJI Omakase — Restaurant in Pattaya City

Pro: fast service, fresh food. Cons: double price menu, must getup to get your drinks, presentation is not Japanese at all (wrong plates and wrong kind of salad/vegetables), sashimi looks like big chunks of fish instead of thin and lovely, a lot of items ไม่มี (no have) on the menu and furthermore I ordered 10 items, 4 were missing too! And final touch, vanilla ice cream, finit! It shows the typical Thai lack of planning and management. You cannot have so many missing dishes on the menu and 40% of the ordered ones (and supposedly available) also not available! Really, vanilla ice cream is over?! I came in on the first day not having a reservation and couldn’t secure a spot. Make sure you reserve first. The food was better than I expected. I added some more items to the lowest tier and if I were to do it again, I would pick the middle 2000 baht package as it was very good and I wanted more. All the items were phenomenal. I would say I liked 90% of the items served to me. There were a combination of cool items such as the one that had cloud bubbles or smoke. The individual sushi’s were fresh and the rice was the right amount of flavour. The yuzu sake was a great pairing with all the food. The staff were so helpful. I was disappointed after all the reviews was anticipating a positive experience the food was ordinary and cost expensive for what we ate some of the service was ok but table didn't have any eating utensils had to ask spoons and chopsticks one of the drinking bottles brought out was hot the other cold .
