McDonald's — Restaurant in Pattaya City

During my travels in Thailand, I've typically indulged in the local street food. However, on a recent day, I decided to switch things up and visit the McDonald's in Pattaya. To my pleasant surprise, the experience was notably impressive.

Firstly, the quality of the food was remarkable. The cheeseburger was exceptionally well-cooked, striking a perfect balance in flavor and texture. The fries, a staple of McDonald's, were also a standout. Interestingly, the medium portion here was larger than its large counterpart in the UK, offering great value. The Coca-Cola was another highlight, fizzing with the right amount of gas, which I particularly enjoy in soda drinks.

Price-wise, it was comparable to what I'd expect in the United Kingdom, which is impressive considering the different economic contexts. The restaurant's cleanliness and the efficiency of service were commendable; our order was served within a mere two minutes, despite the bustling crowd—a characteristic ambiance I've grown to appreciate in McDonald's worldwide.

They now have Quarter Pounders with Cheese so have to love it! Have deleted a couple of stars due to the utterly messed up way they seem to have started taking orders. Edit (Nov 2022) added one star back - they were using the screens correctly, but still not sure that is happening all the time... They have screens for placing your order which they used to direct all customers to use. On my most recent visit they were no longer doing this. This means that when I placed my order on the screen as usual and went to pay I found I was in the same queue as people placing their food orders - making the screens a complete waste of time, as they don't start preparing your order until you have paid. Normally i dont bother reviewing a fast food place but this time i felt like i had to atleast warn other people ! .....

ABSOLUTEY TERRIBLE ! I ordered via FoodPanda and it took almost 2 hours for my meal to arrive.... YES 2 hours ! and that wasnt even the worst thing of it all i get that it can be busy at times i understand this . However atleast make sure the meal is as hot as possible when the drivers finally show up .... My meal tasted like it was 1 day old and stuffed into a fridge overnight disgusting to say the least . Now if i would have been living far away from this location atleast you could hold this as a excuse that it just takes a while to deliver to my place .... Sadly i have to dissapoint the staff here because i live exactley 7 minutes...
