Before that I gave them 4 stars, but unfortunately over the past few months this place has gotten worse
My husband and I have been going here for about a year, it used to be excellent, but now it has some flaws. Now we take the happy tariff, because the more expensive tariffs do not have many interesting dishes. The sashimi fish is fresh, really good ginger and spicy wasabi. The room is clean, open kitchen. The girl who pours the drinks is very polite. Of the minuses: They may bring an extra item - this is critical, if you pay for something you haven’t finished eating or, on the contrary, they don’t bring the necessary items, you have to take a photo of the order sheet and remind them about it. Sometimes 1 serving is a couple of pieces of sashimi, and sometimes a huge mountain, order food gradually The taste of cooked food is not the same every time They are very reluctant to remove empty plates; usually everyone’s tables are filled with dirty dishes In 80% of cases, food is served very, very slowly, you just sit with an empty table and no one pays attention to you, the workers are tired and avoid eye contact. A table in the evening must be booked in advance. The tables are located very close, which is why you can go deaf in the evening, especially if there are families with children. In general, this is definitely not a place for dinner over a pleasant conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. Yes, it's mostly delicious, but don't expect much. It's a shame this place can't...
Read moreI’m a VERY regular customer, have been there 30+ times. The food is GREAT, and I really like the new menu. They do, however, need to change one unambiguously sub-optimal policy. When they are busy, instead of just telling customers that their order might take some time, they tell certain customers that they cannot take their order for 20 minutes. Silly. Just tell customers that you’re busy, so their order will take some time, and let the chefs work through the orders. Who made this policy, a robot in the former Soviet Union? This was especially irksome, since I called at 11:30 open to make a booking (is there a way to book online before open?), showed up at 11:45, and the place was 80% empty (see photo). Pretty sure the chefs could have managed a plate of kimchi or seaweed salad in 20 minutes. Anyway, no reason to have a rigid “no take order 20 minutes” policy, just tell people you’re busy so orders might take some time. That way you won’t lose customers (I walked out). Also, this new and improved policy would decrease negative and frustrating interactions with the staff. Win-win for...
Read moreEdit: All good now and the staff has a reconciliatory attitude, thank you for that and the food is excellent
EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT STAFF, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANY OF MY FRIENDS OR ACQUAINTANCES FROM NOW ON, AND I HAD RECOMMENDED IT TO MANY PEOPLE OVER THE YEARS, SINCE IT STARTED IN PATTAYA 3rd ROAD
I ordered by mistake a grilled saba teriyaki twice, asked if I can cancel the second order as I had forgotten that I ordered it, the first waitress lady said yes, it is okay. Then a second unpleasant Tom Boy waitress came and said that I cannot cancel for some reason. I was like okay, no problem.
From this moment the service level fell to the ground, my beef teriyaki never came and I had to ask for it three times, the orders started coming very slow in comparison to before the incident.
I asked that since I paid, can I take the saba home to give it to the cat and they again refused
SO WHY DO I PAY AND I CANNOT TAKE THE FOOD THAT I PAY BACK HOME? IF YOU WANT ME TO PAY UNEATEN FOOD PENALTY I SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE THE...
