I recently had a terrible experience at this place.
They served me tea that had clearly gone bad (probably the milk), and I asked to check the tea and it will be nice to replace it or order something else.
They refused in a very weird manner, claiming that I probably had never tasted Thai tea before and that it was supposed to taste like that.
I asked them to try the tea themselves to verify that it tasted bad or at least show me the milk they had used, but they just threw the tea away and caused a scene in the middle of the restaurant.
When I asked them to calm down and find a different solution, the owner became extremely confrontational.
They insulted me and created a chaotic scene in front of everyone, which was quite scary.
Talking to them seemed pointless because there were no conversations at all, just screams and insults.
At some point, I offered to call the police because I started to worry for my safety over a cup of tea, which sounds ridiculous, right?
The owner was screaming like she was having a nervous breakdown.
Iâve never seen anything like that before.
Honestly, this happened to me for the first time and I didnât even know how to react.
It was a very confusing situation over a very ridiculous âproblem.â
Adding to the confusion, the second owner decided to take the position of a victim and kept asking the same question: "What did I do to you that you decided to return the tea? What is wrong with you?â
This was a very strange question because I had no personal complaints other than wanting fresh tea with fresh milk.
Is that too high a request for this restaurant? Is it customary here to serve tea with spoiled milk and expect the client to drink it in silence? :)
It was a shocking and unpleasant experience from start to finish. Avoid this âchillout placeâ if you value good service and respect, because itâs not very chill ;)
They seem to be going through some hard times and are ready to blow up on anyone over a minor issue, which could have been easily resolved by offering to make a fresh tea or provide something else instead, but I guess they just wanted to create a drama...
Read moreThe food was ok. I ordered a double hamburger. It wasn't pure beef; I wish the menu had this clearly stated. The hamburger was more like meatloaf but very soft. So soft that it didn't hold together. Pieces of the "beef" would fall off onto the plate or table. It tasted good, but it wasn't 100 percent beef. There was too much bread crumbs or filler in the patties.
Anyone who knows a hamburger, when cooked and pure, will hold together needing a fork or a knife to cut it. This hamburger could be separated by gravity.
I just looked at the photos on their website. My "beef" looked nothing like the photos I see now.
This restaurant also shares the same aggravations for handicapped people that so many have. I wanted to sit inside, but navigating the stairs without a handrail would have...

ORIGINAL REVIEW: They season their FRENCH FRIES!!! (Listen, a little salt and pepper, straight out of the oil, goes a looooong way!) My toddler doesnât always want Thai food so I try to order french fries to ensure that she eats something, but all of my fries in Pattaya have been bland. Ugh! So imagine my surprise when the fries here had a nice sprinkle of flavor.
Plus the smoothies, chicken tenders, salad, and Beef Stew were also good. (I ordered Garlic bread and steamed rice to sop it up) I will return soon!
I found this place on GRAB delivery by the way. So glad I took a grab...
