Review for the cooking class: totally worth it!! If you want an authentic experience with food shopping at the local market and cooking your own food this is THE PLACE. We got picked up at our hotel, we went to the local market and received good advices on the fruits/fish/spices ect and what is used in the thai food. Then we choosed our menu: appetizer, soup or curry, main dish, desert. (Menu is flexible and can be personalized e.g. more/less spicy). Our teachers were very friendly and we had a good time!! They also take pictures for you when you cook and emailed them to you along with all the receipes!! You are supervised, cook yourself and finally eat! I can’t recommend enough to book it!! I had the best pad thai and spring rolls in town!...

Worst food experience during our stay. First of all I love Thai food. I ordered minced chicken with glass noodle and Thai Herbs. I expected some Pad Thai taste but it wasn't even close. The spice on the top of the food was so hard an crunchy. It was like eating a sand! The taste was awful I couldn't eat it. The service was ok but not even a friendly invitation or smile or little Thai manner. They forgot the glass noodle first even if I pointed out on the menu card. So I don't understand the hype around this restaurant, I spoke with other tourists and they didn't understand either. The very best restaurant in Beautiful Khao Lak! The staff is extremely attentive and our Host is the most amazing person, very helpful and friendly, as well as the rest of the personal! We ate there everyday since the food was exquisite! The appetizer - Fresh fruit - is certainly a great start and after the main course we were given a delightful dessert of Fried Bananas which was simply beautifully done!
