Villa Rosso by Aeddy — Restaurant in Phang-nga Province

Absolutely incredible experience!

We discovered this hidden gem on the small island of KOH Kho Khao, and it quickly became our favorite spot. The place is super cozy, and everything in the restaurant was built by the owner himself. He has been running it for two years now, and you can feel the love and effort put into every detail.

The food? Simply outstanding! We’ve tried a lot of Thai dishes before, but this was hands down one of the best meals we’ve ever had in Thailand. His wife is the one cooking, and every dish was full of authentic flavors and freshness. Meanwhile, he makes amazing cocktails that perfectly complement the food.

There’s also a small shop next to the restaurant with beautiful handmade crafts and sea-inspired creations—definitely worth checking out.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and we truly felt at home. The owner speaks great English, and the whole experience was so good that we ended up coming back three times during our one-week stay on the island.

I local love-story is told through authentic food, perfect vibe and warm, personal service from the owners. The married couple started Villa Rosso as their dream, and we really felt how the dream came true on our last night on Koh Ko Khao. A perfect western steak with sauce and potatoes, perfectly seasoned red curry with rice, and a couple starters besides drinks. Our kids had fun on the swings, and with the cat and kitten there as well. They even sell their own handcrafted souvenirs! Gave us a lift back to our hotel refusing to take a tip, hospitality beyond belief. A must visit...

An absolute gem of a restaurant. Aeddy and his wife have made a wonderful place, you must go to. The food is fresh and delicious and great value, we went multiple time over our weekend on the island. Fresh fish, seafood, yummy chicken satay and crispy vegetables all home cooked. We also went from breakfast, great mixed breakfast platter with juice and coffee. 100% reccomend, if we ever return we’ll be back like a shot.
