Big Mistake. On Valentine’s Day I took my girlfriend and my sister who is on holidays here to chef Cha as I always looked at this place as being the best. I told the waitress that my sister has “crustacean allergy “ , this means via google:
A crustacean allergy is an immune system overreaction to proteins in crustaceans like crabs, lobsters, and shrimp. Symptoms can include hives, swelling, and breathing problems. In severe cases, an allergic reaction can be life-threatening.
This was made very clear by both myself and my sister to the waitress who then suggested certain sushi trays. In addition I made it clear to tell the cheff in the kitchen about the allergy so no mistakes can be made as they usually end up in hospital.
The sushi arrived and both trays had crab in the sushi. Luckily I ate the first one and discovered the mistake. I then took both trays to the counter and ask to speak to the cheff, who came out and did not speak any English, I then spoke with the waitress who took my order and ask her if she told the cheff, she said she told the cheff but he didn’t understand it . I then asked to speak to the manager on duty and was told he was out doing deliveries?????, I asked to speak to cheff Cha and he was not available. I then paid for our drinks and left very disappointed on this special day! I recommend cheff Cha to educate all his staff on allergies as this was a close call . Cheff Cha did ring my partner in order to speak to and was told to call the next day …,,, the next day phone call never came . This is the result of sad leadership. If you have some kind of allergy…. And want to live till the next Valentine Day …...
Read moreBeen living in Hau Hin for nearly 8 months now, thought we check out the place as it's near and away from Hau Hin traffic and people..Got say, honestly. I have no idea how they are in business. Customer service is and or was pathetic! They showed us are table the left..never asking if we wanted anything ya know like Water or cocktails or perhaps (I don't know, something to eat). I have videos but Google won't let me post anything over 30 seconds here. Honestly, Service was so bad we had to go get them to order AND NO OTHER CUSTOMERS HERE. My meal did arrive cold. My wife and I enjoy dinning out and eating together.. yet that's not happening here. I finished my meal and drink, then the delivered my wife's meal after I was completely done.. Again not one of these so call Waiter or waitresses bother to check on us or ask us how we were or the meal or anything. Will never be back and will make sure if ever asked about the place, just keep driving and don't Waste you time or Hard earn money.. Hau Hin has plenty of other places that has...
Read moreWe stayed at a nearby hotel with overpriced and not even good food and commuted to Hua Hin daily for a decent meal, and then found this little place. It is on the deafening street, but inside the aircon room nothing can be heard of the noise. The walk there along the six lane street resembling a race track may not be pleasurable, to be done at nightfall, at best, but then the reward is by lovely waitresses and dishes which have the quality of a four star hotel, but at a third of the price. I had a nice Cesar salad with salmon, and crispy fish and chips, among the best ever, by taste fried in clean oil, with a perfect tartar sauce. My partner enjoyed a Thai fried minced chicken with basil leaves, it was all perfect, even on request getting the basil crispy, too. I recommend the place, also for its decor, reminding of Greek taverna. Great to find a place with so much care to detail at such...
