this restaurant needs more staff. We asked if theres room for 3 adults and 2 kids on a steps of this restaurant, they told yes and took Us in a ally and put table and chairs(some were plastic) there. We were hungry so we accepted this, thought this is fine, or even good cos music dosent sound too loud here. We ordered drinks, starters and main foods. Drinks came fast and then We sitted more then 1h of waiting without waiter even asking if we need anything, waiters avoided eye contact.then I told one how i feel about theyr servises and demanded service and told to clean up empty botles from table and that We need more drinks and starters should come soon too. Waiter told me that theres lot of customers, but all I asked got done. Took them over 1h 45min from order to get ouer food to table.thats LONG time, specialy When theres kids waiting too, youngest 6yers old. Starters and main course came together. Food was fine, not good, but eatable.in order I asked my dish to be spicey and rest of the order not. They all were not. Not even a hint of chili in mine. I had to go to desk to ask the bill. Read moreOn a sunny Monday morning after getting a Pfizer booster shot at the Cha-Am Municipal Hall, I decided to grab brunch over by Cha-Am Beach.
I first tried to visit "Enjoyable Food" but it was closed even though Google Maps said it was open. Next I looked at some other restaurants and I selected "Max Restaurant" because the photo of the Eggs Benedict Bacon looked so appealing. I walked about 500 meters to Max Restaurant only to find that they no longer make Eggs Benedict. Evidently, they have a problem with the sauce.
No worries; I ordered from the all day breakfast menu and got a delicious ham and cheese baguette, an extra order of bacon and hot coffee and some pineapple juice. All for 230 Baht!
The price is not cheap but also not too expensive considering the set. The baguette sandwich was fresh and the bacon was extra crispy.
The service is friendly although a little inattentive; I was the only customer for most of my meal time.
I had a seat on the shaded porch with a pleasant view looking across the beach road to the Cha-Am Beach. Monday morning is quiet and relaxing here.
These beach road restaurants in Cha-Am need business during this Covid time. I hope they can make it until the...
Read moreNice restaurant with Thai and Western food. This is also mirrored in the customers. This evening I saw Thai-, Thai/Foreigner- and Foreigner-table.
I ate a burger and cannot complain. Much. The sauce for the salad taste a bit odd, but could also be a problem with my tongue 😉. Service was great. Very friendly, helpful and always watching if a guest needs anything. And proper English. I don’t require it, but it’s a nice touch that the staff is prepared for foreigners in this touristic place.
They also offer draft beer. I chose a bottled beer - don’t ask me why. Might try the next days...
