Very basic restaurant, doesn't look like much from the road. The menu is as shown on the wall, but they also have an English menu. I ordered jungle curry pork (gaeng paa moo). Also a side of plain rice and a glass of lime juice, for a total of 95 baht. They asked me three times if I was sure of my order, as jungle curry is typically very very spicy. The flavor was delicious and the spice just right for this dish. Bring tissues to wipe your eyes and nose if you want to order gaeng paa! The rice was a bit stale, not tasty. A local made-to-order restaurant — not big or fancy, but the flavors are five-star level. The prices are incredibly cheap. Honestly, we ordered more than this, but I only managed to snap a photo of these dishes in time. I don't even know how to describe it — you just have to come and try it yourself!

Highly recommended if you're visiting South Cha-am and looking for a tasty, affordable Thai-style made to order meal. One tip for those who don’t eat spicy: if you order dishes like stir-fried chili, basil stir-fry, or chili paste stir-fry, be sure to say “not spicy” because the flavors are quite bold packed with chili and ginger.
