Mikkeller Brewery is a must-visit spot for any beer enthusiast. Their selection of craft beers is extensive, and the quality of their brews is simply outstanding. The atmosphere in the brewery is very laid-back and welcoming, with a trendy, industrial-style decor that adds to the overall experience.
The staff at Mikkeller Brewery are extremely knowledgeable about their beers and are more than happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. They're also friendly and approachable, making you feel right at home from the moment you step inside.
One of the things that sets Mikkeller Brewery apart is their experimental approach to brewing. They're always coming up with new and unique flavors that you won't find anywhere else. It's clear that they put a lot of passion and care into their craft, and it definitely shows in the quality of their beers.

Read moreMikkeller is the best brewery in the world! I love the location in San Diego, and the Bangkok location did not disappoint. While slightly pricey, they have a great beer selection, and the food is pretty amazing (and reasonably priced or the portions). The beer chicken is honestly a great deal! Definitely a wonderful spot to chill out and have a meal. It’s fun. You’ll spend $50 but leave stuffed and probably fairly intoxicated.
Update: I returned a year later. The San Diego brewery location has closed, so this was an extra-special treat. They had a mystery sour on tap that was amazingly good. I had the beer chicken once more and it was just as good as the first time. Long live Mikkeller #goated
Update 2: Came back tonight to visit Mikkeller BKK, one of my all-time favorites. I tried a double IPA sour, which was remarkably good despite how hoppy it was on the back-end. I also tried the Mikkeller mandarin lime sour, which I liked but I found not tart enough for my palette. The beer chicken was great as always. Took a peek in the bottle shop and bought a Mikkeller shirt that says...
Read moreThis was, and still is, my home away from home in Bangkok. Lots of memories here. Nostalgia aside, it’s the place to go if you care about beer and want a well-rounded bar experience, too.
The tap list is always interesting (not to mention there are 30 options, including some wine), and the fridge selection is even better.
The staff is awesome — shout out to Ben, of course, but the whole team is great!
There’s a fun soundtrack — usually pop-, rock-, or indie-adjacent — but the music is never too loud, so it really invites you to settle in for the night with your friends.
The food is tasty, there are loads of events and pop-ups, and the setting is second to none, even if you have to travel to get there.
The garden is quiet, lush, and beautiful, but there’s also full-blast air con inside for Bangkok’s steamy nights.
Love this place and everyone...
