I was under the impression the boat ride would be free, but once I arrived on the island and after ordering, I was told that if I didn't spend more than 950 baht on food they would charge me 200 baht for the boat.
They have nets spread out all over the island and submerged in seawater, in which they keep the fish and other seafood so the food you're getting should be fresh. The view around is very nice.

The instructor was very fluent in English and providing informative lecture on Pearl, oyster, mussel, etc. farming to provide local and sustainable foods for the Thais. I really like how they think 360 on keeping both nature and local together in harmony. There are many experimental projects by the owner that have future potential on cosmetic and medical industries from the use of mother pearl and used seashells.
