Wow. Writing this as I eat the last bite of my grouper. This place is head and shoulders above the rest. No wonder the Michelin guide lists this place, it’s the only seafood I’ve had so far in Thailand that is good, and it’s not only good. It’s well cooked, well seasoned and well presented.
We had a deep fried grouper with tamarind sauce (5/5 stars), tiger shrimp with butter and garlic (5/5), deep fried soft shell crab with garlic (4/5) deep fried soft shell crab with mango salad (4/5) and fried rice to supplement it all. We asked the staff for their recommendation, and not a one was a miss.
The staff were the most service-minded I’ve encountered in Thailand, quick responsive and good at English.
Despite the restaurants location on a raft it’s easy to get to as they have free long boats bringing you to and from at your leisure.

Read moreWe picked this as a must-go destination thanks to the recommendation from Marion Grasby. We are happy to say that this floating restaurant satisfied our Thai seafood cravings really well!

Read moreWe came here for lunch and it was the highlight of our trip in Phuket. The boat rides back and fro from the dock to the restaurant is covered by your meal. The whole journey is such an experience. We do not speak Thai and there was no clear signs of where and how, but people there were friendly and pointed us the directions. Just go with the flow... The only problem is getting a ride back to the city. The signal is spotty, so it was tough to get a taxi or Grab ride, it took us 30 minute to wait for our driver. It was a Thursday late afternoon in June so perhaps you'll have better luck on the weekends. Note that this is not a fancy restaurant, so expect wooden benches or tables and uneven wooden decks, but you can't beat the experience of eating fresh seafood in the middle of the sea. The food is excellent. Will...
