The only way to access Jay Kiao is to either drive or get a taxi here. Although it's not easily accessible, this is a solid go-to place for economical seafood here in Hua Hin.

Why I would recommend this place? Seafood really can't get fresher than what you can get here It is good and cheap (and since you are already here at a coastal city... why not?)

Definitely go for the Fresh steamed crab with the zesty Thai seafood dip Steamed crab legs for those who are lazy or have no experience in de-shelling a crab

I doubt you will get any fresher seafood than in here. Based on our experience, this place will take some beating. The food was superb. There was a large group of us and we ordered several dishes all of which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and the serving time was very efficient indeed. This place is great, tucked away directly on the beach, down a little alley off the main thoroughfare, you will miss a window of opportunity if you don’t pop in and enjoy the super food they have to offer at very very reasonable prices. I'll give this place 4 stars because of the excellent beach view and fast service, but the food itself was a bit bland. I had to add a lot of spicy seafood sauce because everything wasn't spicy enough. The yellow crab curry was good but the tom yum soup had almost no chilli in it. In 20 years here this is the first tom yum soup with no chilli I've had. Thai shrimp omelette was okay but the grilled squid was tiny. The only this that saved the dull or bland food was the spicy seafood sauce. Great view and location for a beer, but don't count on the food being good...
