Dorigo in Hua Hin is an absolute gem for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine. I had the pleasure of dining here recently and was truly blown away by both the food and the atmosphere. The restaurant exudes a cozy, warm ambiance with charming Italian-inspired decor, creating the perfect dining experience.

The food was nothing short of spectacular. I started with a beautifully cooked steak, tender and juicy, served alongside a fresh arugula salad topped with cherry tomatoes, radishes, parmesan, and balsamic drizzle. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was packed with richness and freshness.

Next, I tried the Seafood Spaghetti, which was one of the highlights of the evening. The dish was bursting with fresh seafood, including prawns, squid, mussels, and clams, tossed in a light yet flavorful garlic and olive oil sauce. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the presentation was stunning.

Beyond the food, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and happy to recommend dishes, making us feel welcome from start to finish. I went here after seeing a post on a local FB page asking where to get the best pizza in Hua Hin. A lot of people named Dorigo. I had never been, but had planned to go at some time. I live near to it, and I was hungry, so I said, “what the heck.” Jumped on the motorbike and headed down the hill. I ordered a pizza called ‘four seasons’, which has ham, mushrooms, sausage, and artichokes. Usually each topping will occupy its own quadrant on the pizza, but I asked the waiter to have the chef disburse all toppings evenly on the pizza. I took it home and ate the whole thing. You can do that with thin crust pizzas with little effort. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the toppings were good. I didn’t give four stars because it just seemed to be lacking something. Maybe no zing in the sauce. It was a little bland. Without naming names, I’m gonna say that Dorigo’s is the second or third best place in Hua Hin to get pizza. UPDATE: I gave them another try last night. This time I had a sausage, mushroom, hot salami, and olive pizza. I took it home and washed it down with an ice cold Chang. The pizza was perfection!
