To me, the highlight of the restaurant is the atmosphere, which is superb and perfectly suits my taste.
There is a small pavilion next to the beach where you can enjoy your meal while overlooking the azure sea. It’s ideal for a small group, as the pavilion accommodates only one table for four. However, it offers a sense of privacy, especially during the daytime when it’s too hot to sit outdoors under the sun.
The menu selection is quite extensive, but it’s important to note that it’s an Italian restaurant, so don’t expect offerings beyond Italian cuisine.
The drink selection is wide-ranging, from soft drinks and juice shakes to cocktails and other alcoholic beverages.
The portions and quality of the food are pleasing and enjoyable.
Unfortunately, as I traveled alone, I could only order a few dishes.
The staff are nice and friendly; however, if you sit in the pavilion, they may not be as attentive, since it’s a bit removed from the main restaurant area.
The prices are reasonable for this type of restaurant, though not cheap. Expect a 10% service charge and 7% VAT added to your bill.
You might need to be a bit observant to find the restaurant, as the alley leading to it isn’t very noticeable and can be easily missed. The road condition leading to the restaurant can also be rough, especially after rain.
Nonetheless, there is ample parking space, accommodating about 15 cars.
By the way, if you love a restaurant like this one, you may be interested in its sister restaurant, Casa di Laciana al mare, which, personally, I...

I honestly don’t know where to start with how bad our experience was at Laciana by the Beach. First off, the food was delivered in such a staggered manner that by the time we got everything, it was all cold. It was incredibly frustrating that our dishes were coming out one by one, so we couldn’t even eat together.
On top of all that, the menus were ridiculously huge—it took forever to get through them, and it just felt tedious to read through so many options. It made what should have been a simple choice feel like a chore.
To top that off, a drink we ordered was forgotten entirely and didn’t arrive until 30 minutes after all the other drinks were served, which is just unacceptable.
We were ignored for the first 35 minutes we were there, watching people who came in after us have their orders taken before us. The service was unbelievably slow, and the staff was completely disorganized. We had to come get the staff to take the order down in the end because we were sick of waiting.
And as if that wasn’t bad enough, they had the nerve to charge an automatic 10% service fee, which is a joke considering the abysmal service. I cannot stand mandatory tips with such a lack of professionalism and poor service.
The only redeeming quality of this place was the ambiance, which was nice, and the food wasn’t awful, but honestly, it wasn’t worth the price. There is a clear lack of quality control here, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Save your time and money—this place is a...
Read moreOur first weekend out of Bangkok after arriving here in January 2025. We scoped areas out as we did not intend to stay in the city. Research of Hua Hin and Cha Am peaked our interest enough to go out there and make a weekend of it. Although Hua Hin did not disapppoint at all, on the contrary, it more than delivered in entertainment, atmosphere, culinary, and value for money! On our last night, we wanted a restaurant with a variety of food choices, but more specifically, seafood. Now I know there are quite a few night markets to choose from where you can buy a variety of seafood, and we did the night before, but it didn't quite hit the spot....and again I'd like to emphasize the location...on the beachfront! This review is, after all, about Laciana, which is family owned. BTW, Dad is the chef, and the son seems to be second in charge. To be honest, just looking at the menu had our mouths salivating!. After much debate on what to order, we excitedly dug into the multiple dishes spread out in front of us!Only one word can describe the symphony of flavors and textures....PHENOMENAL!
The service, atmosphere, and location pushed it over the top, and I can truly say that if you are looking for that relaxed ambiance and don't mind a cool ocean breeze, give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. I will upload some pics and a video, but I don't think it does...
