The Gaeng Kiew Waan Gai (green curry with chicken) was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of spice, while the Gai Phad Med Mamuang Himmaphan (stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts) was savory and satisfying, featuring tender chicken and crunchy cashews in a well-balanced sauce.

The Khao Phad Gai (fried rice with chicken) was another highlight, with its savory, comforting flavors and perfectly cooked rice.

For dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice was an absolute treat — the sweet, ripe mango paired with the creamy coconut sticky rice made for a perfect end to the meal.

A real mixed bag…

The first time eating here, my food was “okay”, but my husband’s was very average to not-so-great. Neither were seafood options. That was a lunch time with lovely, friendly, helpful staff and an ocean breeze (there’s no aircon option at this restaurant).

The second time, a dinner, the atmosphere was great and the staff excellent again - but it he food was awful! I had the same meal again but this time the meat was tough and the entire meal seemed overcooked. My husband was even more disappointed as he had a seafood dish which is supposed to be their specialty. The fish was very overcooked and a very small serving.

We had to walk to the 7-Eleven after dinner to get some fruit and yogurt to fill him up and complete the meal - there was no- way that we were ordering any more there.

Recommended that you reserve a table as the seating are very limited due to Covid restrictions (was fully booked for a few days).

For evening service, it is recommended that you come a little early (e.g. 17:00) as you can avoid the evening bugs.

The food was generally good. Expect hotel prices. The crab curry was excellent and went along very well with the fried vermicelli noodles that came with our shrimp spring rolls. The banana fritters were delicious, but could have some more of the rich homemade coconut ice cream to balance the dish.
