Terrible Experience – Overpriced, Dishonest, and Rude Staff

This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve had on the island. The waiting times were biblical, the waiter was lazy and completely absent—we had to go to the counter ourselves because he vanished after taking our order.

I specifically asked for large prawns and was assured they had them, but instead, they served us small ones and charged an outrageous 1500 baht per kg (when everywhere else on the island it's around 700 baht per kg). Total scam.

They do not actually grill anything. They just drown the food in a so-called BBQ sauce, but nothing ever touches a real grill. My barracuda portion was tiny, just the tail full of bones and barely any meat.

When we politely pointed out these issues, we were met with rude, aggressive yelling from the staff, especially the woman in charge, who was screaming from the kitchen like a maniac. Extremely unprofessional, zero class.

We ended up leaving without finishing our meal. The worst part? We wasted so much time waiting that we struggled to find another place still open. Luckily, we did.

They have SNAPPER on the board but were not available. I asked for a half kg of Tiger Prawns cooked on BBQ for 750baht. After 1h or more waiting without any service whatsoever at the table, they gave me standard prawns fully covered in BBQ sauce which I never asked for because I never liked the BBQ sauce in my life. I asked for a BBQ barracuda and they gave me the thing in my photo. I asked for kombucha for 50 baht and they gave me a tiny flask without even a glass or ice. No English. Had an early dinner here. Ordered the snapper in tamarind sauce, vegetable green curry and onion rings (tempura). Portion sizes were nice and big. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Loved every bite! Prices also very reasonable. As a bonus our 2 mains arrived at the same time which hasn't happened much on the island.
