ONE MORE RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Rawai

We’re staying in the bungalows just behind this restaurant and have eaten here every day. It’s incredible. The best food we’ve had in Thailand, and we’ve been in the north and south of Thailand for a couple of weeks. They have the best pad Thai I’ve ever eaten, and my boyfriend says the same about the green curry and duck curry. Even their pancakes in the morning were the best! We haven’t had a single dish that’s bad (or even mediocre). Their cocktails are handmade and also incredible. The prices are surprisingly low (not street market prices, but cheaper than any other restaurant we’ve eaten at). And the ladies working there are SO nice! If I hear of any friends coming to Thailand, I will make sure they visit...

It’s not bad, but an average Thai restaurant. I wonder why so many reviews said that it is a “hidden gem”.

We ordered coconut smoothie but there are a lot of small broken coconut shell inside the drink. We suspected that they accidentally put part of the coconut shell into the blender…

Mango sticky rice was also average. Mango was not very sweet and sticky rice a bit too hard.

It’s in a great Location, but the restaurant is full of flies. I have never seen that many flies in any other restaurants in Phuket. I have diarrhoea after eating here. I am not sure if it’s because of the food here or just general...

The good: Pineapple fried rice was good. The location is close to the beach.

The bad: So many flies that it was hard to enjoy the meal. The watermelon smoothie just tasted like sweet syrup, no watermelon taste at all. Don’t recommend the crab omelette at all, crab meat tasted old and dry, and overall very flavorless. Also, try to pay near exact amount because they will try to give you the wrong amount of change.

Finally, be wary of the 5 star reviews because they advertise giving a 5% discount for leaving a review. Overall, I recommend the other...
