Viet-Van Phuket — Restaurant in Rawai

Grabbed a quick Bánh mì lunch there, for the first time.

I am a local a little further north so hadn't tried and happy with my previous TH Viet fix, in Phuket. Not anymore.

As a pre COVID regular to VN (HCM) this is Authentic Bánh mì. Very good bread and Paté - the hardest part to master!

When next down there will try more. 💪

This morning, I woke up and felt a craving for some pho, googled it and found this gem not far from Kata. I hopped on my scooter and there it is. A nice art-deco restaurant split in two: the food truck VW westfalia style and the classic restaurant that specializes in dumpling. I ended up having a banh mi. Just waow. French mini baguette, Vietnamese style, crispy on the outside. The ingredients are fresh, and the taste authentic with their incredible marinated veggies and the mandatory fresh cilantro. Clean place. Bravo to the welcoming and smiling team. Definitely come back to enjoy the rest...

This is a great place for good Vietnamese food and a nice vibe all around. Me and my partner ordered chicken pho, some vegetable rolls wrapped in rice paper and bahn mi with crispy pork. The food was very delicious and fresh, also presented well. All the foods look so eye pleasing 🤩😇 We will definitely try and come again. Only downside they didn’t have any alcoholic drinks available ( except beer ) as in in stock, so if they had some cocktails in stock that would be a great option for those that like that. Overall, great vibes...
