I have no idea why you will miss this restaurant if you visit Sakol Nakorn. It is the oldest western restaurant in the town, approximately 30 years old. It locates in the downtown area, so there are no parking lots, but you can easily park on the roadside in front of the restaurant. The vibe is excellent. The dining looks like an American restaurant in the 70s. There was only one waitress when I visited, but the service was flawless. We ordered five dishes; sirloin steak, spaghetti carbonara, spaghetti Bolognese, mixed vegetable salad, and fries rice with crab meat. All of them came in American(extra large) sizes, so you should beware of overordering. The sirloin steak was tender and cooked as ordered. It could be more than 1000 Baht in Bangkok, but only 400s there. I highly recommend this. The carbonara was not traditional. It was served with a raw egg yolk on top and might be cooked with fresh cream, but it was better than many restaurants in Bangkok. The Bolognese was too sweet for me, but my kid liked it. The salad was also excellent. Vegetables were fresh and crisp. This dish was enormous, and you could share it with two to three people. My mother did not like western food, so she had fried rice with crab meat. It is unexpectedly delicious. There were plenty of big chunks of crab meat in the dish. Incredibly, this meal is...

Read moreThis is definitely the best restaurant in Sakon Nakhon, because it offers a vast variety of fine Thai and Western cousine in a cozy and well designed ambient. The service is fast even if the lady looked a bit annoyed and not really friendly. I took a T-Bone for 750B and it was tender and tasty, plus properly cooked as requested, but it was not really tick as a proper T-Bone should be. The thai food was really delicious dough. The total price for 5 people was 2,700B which is reasonable, considering the...
