The food was excellent! I made a reservation for 5 people via google map chat and it worked well. Turns out that a reservation was not necessary as the restaurant was pretty much empty when we went for dinner. There were 2 people sitting at another table in the garden but we were seated inside so we didn't see them. It was a little odd eating in an empty restaurant but the food was great so that's all that matters right? We tried a bit of everything...soup with coconut milk, pad thai omelette, basil chicken, stir fried pork, curry, pineapple fried rice, etc. We had a slight communication issue trying to explain the difference between flat water and water with gas (carbonated water) but some pictures and google translate, etc. seemed to help. We ordered carbonated water first but the kids wanted flat water so when we ordered flat water, they gave us more carbonated water. But not a big deal. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants a nice meal in Phuket. The prices were reasonable and on par for a restaurant of this quality.

Such a great find. It’s a bit hidden away but very much worth the trip. We ordered the pork balls, a pineapple curry with chicken (for a member of our party who wanted a mild curry and they obliged), a pork sour curry, the dry red curry pork and the stir fried malindjo with egg. All of it was excellent, the pork meat was very tender, but the malindjo was the star dish, so good I asked for one to go. We ordered a large rice and it was very generous, enough for four at least. I really wanted to try desert so we for two to go. The taro balls in coconut was delicious and the snake fruit also lovely. The restaurant itself is beautiful and has clean toilets. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, just a lovely experience all round.

ร้านสวย พื้นที่เยอะ บรรยากาศไทยๆ สบายๆ ตกแต่งให้เป็นมุมถ่ายรูปได้ทั้งร้าน มาภูเก็ตบ่อยแต่ไม่เคยได้ยินใครแนะนำร้านนี้เลย ไปร้านที่คนแนะนำมาหมดแล้ว เลยลองค้นหาร้านดู อยู่ดีๆก็มีร้านนี้ขึ้นมา ดูน่าสนใจเลยมาลอง สั่งเมนูเด่นๆของร้านมาหลายอย่าง หมูฮ้อง เหมือนเป็นอาหารประจำภูเก็ต ไปร้านไหนก็ต้อสั่ง ที่นี่ถือว่ารสชาดี เข้มข้น หมูเปื่อยพอประมาณ ถือว่าโอเคเลย พระยาแท่งทอง ชื่ออลังการเชิญชวนให้สั่งอย่างยิ่ง มันคือผัดพริกแกงยอดมะพร้าวอ่อน เป็นพริกแกงเหลือง ที่แปลกคือมีความเปรี้ยวด้วย ใช้วิธีการทำที่เป็นเทคนิคพิเศษของทางร้าน ไม่เคยกินที่ไหนมาก่อน แปลกแต่ดี ต้มยำปลาเก๋า รสชาดเป็นเอกลักษณ์มาก เปรี้ยวไม่เหมือนต้มยำร้านอื่น เพราะทางร้านไม่ได้ใช้มะนาว แต่เป็นส้มจี๊ดแทน ชอบในความเปรี้ยวแต่กลมกล่อม เมนูนี้รักเลย หมูกรอบทอดเกลือ ทอดได้กรอบดี แต่ก็เค็มไปนิด โดยรวมถือว่าโอเค ฉู่ฉี่กุ้ง กุ้งสด รสชาดดี เข้มข้นถึงเครื่องมาก น้ำพริกกุ้งสด รสชาดดี แต่ก็ยังไม่ถึงกับว้าว ให้ผักเคียงมาหลากหลายมาก สด อร่อย ไข่เจียว ดีตามมาตรฐานโลก ข้าวสวย หุงนุ่มกำลังดี แต่ตัวข้าวไม่เด่นมาก ในส่วนของหวานมีแนะนำ 2 อย่าง บัวลอยเผือก ทางร้านนำเสนอมากๆ เพราะทำเองทุกกระบวนการ บอกว่าทำแป้งแบบไม่หวงเผือก ปั้นแล้วเก็บไว้ ตอนจะเสิร์ฟเอามาลวกและใส่กะทิสดคั้นมือ รสชาดไม่หวานมาก น้ำไม่ค่อยเข้มข้นเท่าไร แต่ต้องหักคะแนนอย่างแรงตรงที่มีกลิ่นไม่ดีในเนื้อแป้ง ออกสาบๆ และแป้งก็ไม่ได้ใส่เผือกเยอะอย่างที่โฆษณาไว้เท่าไร ชิมแค่คำเดียวขอผ่านเลย ลูกชกลอยแก้ว ถ้ามาใต้ต้องไม่พลาดเลย น้ำเชื่อมเป็นเกล็ดๆน้ำแข็งและไม่หวานมาก ชอบตรงนี้ แต่ที่ไม่ค่อยชอบคือกลิ่นของน้ำเชื่อม คล้ายๆน้ำหวานเฮลส์บลูบอยสีใสเลย เรื่องการบริการ พนักงานที่นี่บริการดีมากๆทุกคน โดยเฉพาะเจ้าของร้านน่ารักมากๆ มาพูดคุยกับลูกค้า ทั้งเล่าเรื่องราวของร้าน และเมื่อสอบถามเกี่ยวกับอาหารก็อธิบายได้อย่างละเอียดเนื่องจากทำเองทุกขั้นตอน และยังทำให้รู้ว่าใส่ใจรายละเอียดทุกอย่าง จึงมีลูกค้าประจำเยอะ ไม่เน้นขายทัวร์ ไม่ปรับรสชาดให้ต่างชาด รักษาคุณภาพตามมาตรฐานของร้านเป็นอันดับแรก ทำให้การทานอาหารที่นี่มีอรรถรสขึ้นมาก ๆ ถ้ามีโอกาสต้องมาอีกแน่ๆ

Very authentic Thai place with very quiet and cozy ambience. The dishes were not expensive - from 60 to 250 THB. Our table composed of 3 dishes and it costed 390THB (for 3.5 people). Clear soup with bean curd and chicken (I asked to substitute pork) was very nourshing. The dish with meat and banana stalks was very unusual: my husband said it was the best dish he has ever tried, while I actually couldn't eat. The shrimp dip seemed to be popular among locals, but was too specific for my taste. Overall, I would recommend trying this local place. The owners were very helpful and attentive (and English speaking!!)

Lucky to discover this gem of a restaurant while we were in Phuket. We are big fan of Thai recipes and we wanted to have something authentic Thai food while we are in Thailand. Place-wise, this place is amazing and huge seating capacity with beautiful gardens and small pond filled with colorful fishes. They have tables for couple as well as for small and huge group. We had a couple of beers, chicken starter with something named Krua Praya, yellow curry chicken and pad thai rice noodles with chicken. Staff was sweet and accommodating. And they were open for suggestions too!

Amazing local Thai dishes and quick service. Staff are very polite and are happy to customize your dishes (I asked for less oil, extra eggs, no sugar, etc). I ate here twice a day for nearly a month as I trained at the Sumalee boxing gym a minute away and never got sick of the food. Prices are great and meals are fresh and tasty. They even put a fan in front of you to deter mosquitos and sometimes will give you bug spray. Great family that owns the restaurant, go show your support and enjoy an amazing meal!
