Positive The owner and staff are very kind friendly and nice people.
Daal Tadka, Jeera Rice and Chana Masala were perfect. Almost home made not oily and very tasty.
Prices for all dishes and food was very very reasonable.
Negative Ordered masala omelette. Arrived over cooked from outside and not cooked from inside (happens when it’s made fast on high flame) and had carrots in it. Complained to the staff. They made new, this time it was cooked but again carrots in it. Waiter mentioned this is how we make it here people like it. I Googled and showed him online top 10 masala omelette recipes none have carrot in it. Nevertheless that was not the only thing the omelette was oily and had no taste and it’s the simplest thing to make. Staff didn’t charge for both the omelette as i was unable to have any of them.
Ordered take away alloo gobhi found out it was swimming in oil. This we figured out when we reached home.
Ordered Chicken Malai Tikka. It was dry and hard like stones. Absolutely tasteless. If this dish made correctly it melts in the mouth and softest among all chicken tikka assortments. It’s dripping in malai (cream) as the name suggests and one can taste garlicky flavor. It was a far away from what it was supposed to be. Was very hungry and tired to complain and wait again after the omelette thingy. So had few pieces and left the rest. This dish was charged.
Owner is coming up with a very nice new restaurant next door. Would highly recommend them to send the cook for some training or change him or they will risk their name...
Read moreThe best northern Indian food I ever had! All flavors were separate, nothing tasted the same. The tandoori chicken was smoked to perfection in taste and texture, made us want to chew slow to savor it. The samosas were homemade, flaky and you could taste the flour like when you make homemade biscuits from scratch, you don’t get that from store bought. The prawn biryani was so flavorful and they were not stingy with the prawns… all dishes were excellent. We got plain naan and one stuffed with minced chicken both were excellent. We were the only ones there on arrival but there was steady flow of takeout orders, others came in person later. Do yourself a favor if you’re in Thailand, come in person, enjoy the music and the surroundings of this place… we walked a mile to enjoy this and it was well worth it. We had 7 items, B1323.00, around $40 in...
