ครัวลูกกา เกาะสมุย Lookka Kitchen — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

We recently popped into Lookka Kitchen on Samui and were absolutely delighted! If you're looking for a place where you can eat truly delicious food without breaking the bank, then this is definitely the spot for you.

The food is just finger-licking good! We tried several Thai dishes, and each one was fresh, aromatic, with a perfectly balanced taste. You can feel that they cook with heart and use quality ingredients.

The staff – that's a whole other story! The folks there are incredibly friendly, always smiling, ready to help with choices, and they just create such a warm, homely atmosphere that you don't want to leave.

And yes, the prices were a very pleasant surprise. You pay very little for such a treat, which is a real rarity on Samui.

All in all, Lookka Kitchen is our little culinary gem on the island. We sincerely recommend it to everyone who appreciates tasty food, heartfelt service, and doesn't want to overpay. We'll definitely be back...

I was on the island for over a month and this was by far my favorite restaurant let the owners wife advise on food she knows what's good and she is super friendly. It's family owned dad cooks mom socialize and take order and son supports great team. I ate here at least twice a week considering my hotel was 35 minutes away or it would have been way more. Price is great too very affordable but when the dish is spicy it really is so be aware but I think they tone it down depending on the clients nationality. Prices range from 60 to 150 net even for softshell crab or more expensive ingredients. My favorite dishes are pork falling on the floor (moo tok din) and they have great curries kaeng som and kaeng krua. Softshell crab in prik Thai daam is awesome...

One of the better Thai restaurants in Koh Samui.

The menu is straight forward and has many dishes to choose from. The seafood was fresh and cooked well. We asked for real Thai style cooking and not tourist style.

The Tom kha talay was the best we have had so far. So much flavour, so fresh, creamy and aromatic. Delicious.

Prawn tempuras here are too good. We like to dip them in the sauce that comes with the raw vegetable side dish offered in any authentic Thai restaurants. Much tastier than dipping in the sweet Thai sauce it comes with.
