Terrible Customer Service – Avoid if You Can!

The lady selling bus tickets at this place is by far the rudest and most unpleasant person I have encountered in Thailand. She is unfriendly, impolite, and has a permanently closed-off and frustrated expression. She responds aggressively to simple questions and lacks even the most basic sense of customer service.

When I politely asked for two tissues, she refused for no reason. Worse, when she overheard me talking to my friend (probably realizing I was mentioning her attitude), she had the audacity to tell me to “keep quiet otherwise you won't go nowhere". Her behavior was shocking, especially in a country known for its warm hospitality. It seems like she is deeply frustrated with life, and unfortunately, she takes it out on customers.

If you can, avoid this place and buy your ticket elsewhere. No one wants such negativity...

If you're looking for the absolute worst customer service experience in Thailand, look no further than the lady selling bus tickets at Khao Sok station. Her unmatched irascibility and sheer disdain for people make every interaction an ordeal. She doesn’t just dislike customers—she visibly resents them. Rude, impatient, and utterly unhelpful, she seems to take pleasure in making things as unpleasant as possible.

One has to wonder why she chose a job that involves dealing with people when she so clearly despises human interaction. Do yourself a favor—buy your tickets online or head to the minivan station across the street, where the staff are actually friendly and helpful.

There is a bus and taxi mafia there which over charge tourists absurd amount of money and say there are no other taxis around. We got a bolt little further away which they threaten the drive and had us leave the taxi. The taxi Maffia there took pictures of us. The vans that drop you off there from other cities are part of the scam. Avoid this place if you can. Everyone seems to be on the scheme. !!! When you finally grab bolt/grab the driver pretend he doesn’t know where you are going and asking you for double what the he accepted on the app Sad they are ruining...
