Staff aren’t Thai… The staff could neither speak Thai nor English well, which made communication extremely difficult. Because I’m Thai and tried to talk both languages.
We ordered a dish that was supposed to come with four prawns, but only received two. When we asked for oregano for the pizza, the staff misunderstood and tried to take the pizza away, then brought us various condiments—none of which were oregano. Eventually, I had to speak directly to the chef to get the oregano myself.
When it was time to pay, I asked to pay via QR code, but the staff brought over a credit card machine. Then, when I repeated “QR code,” they handed me a QR code to review the restaurant instead. It was confusing and frustrating. On top of that, the staff muttered complaints toward us, which was very unprofessional.
The management also seems poor. The pizza oven was producing a lot of smoke and there was no proper ventilation—it filled the whole area.
I honestly feel this place lacks proper staff training and management. Definitely not a place I would return to...
Read moreMy family and I were walking by and looking for somewhere to eat on Chewang Street. The guys outside were very welcoming and we had a look at the menu. The prices were very cheap which honestly peaked our curiosity and fueled by our hunger we walked in. I ordered egg fried noodles with vegetables and chicken, my wife ordered shrimp fried rice. The food was honestly very delicious. It was revealed that the quantity is why the prices were so low. Each dish was barely enough for one person. There were hardly any noodles in the dish, and it was overcrowded with chicken and vegetables. The rice had a total of 4 shrimps in them. Because the prices are so low, our bill was a total of 500 BHT for 3 mains and 2 drinks. Which mind you can increase once you realise that each person may end up ordering 2...
Read moreWe ate here almost everyday having a late lunch. The place is not fancy looking, but the food and service is wonderful and right across from our hotel. It was one of the best eateries we dined at, including those fancy western designed venues on the main drag, its all decor and not much else. We had the Thai food special which was only 79baht during happy hour per plate. The pricing is crazy and I was sceptical at first, but I could not believe the flavours of the food which arrived on our table. Its more of a sharing style plate so we ordered a few, but all in all, we came back...
