Didn’t want to leave a negative review, but i feel like i should because this business practice needs to change. I ordered a coffee here, completely empty shop, sat down, opened my laptop and a worker came up and told me I needed to leave in 30 minutes. I felt discriminated against. Maybe if the shop fills up, then you ask people to be considerate of the space for others. Or maybe if I’ve been there 30 minutes, then you come and ask if I want to order more. I wasn’t plugged in to their power or draining the business with my presence. Many shop owners intentionally slow service when shops are empty to make them look more full and attract more customers. Just because this is “normal” here to kick people out, or the greed-consumed owner has mandated it, does not make it right. I left right away, and apologized to the staff for breathing their air. Was the coffee good? No clue. Paid and left. If you enjoy chugging coffee, like to be made to feel worthless, or have a Togo order, then maybe this is your favorite new shop. There is an experience of drinking a coffee and enjoying increased focus for the next hour or two. This coffee shop does not understand. Note how the owner’s response below accuses me of lying lol. If people are not allowed to stay for more than 30 minutes, there should be a sign and it should apply to all customers without...

The lovely owner Andreas said that allot of the recipes are inspired by his Grandmother in Italy. I must admit, the standard of food was that of a high end restaurant in Southern Italy. I left there feeling full, happy and very satisfied with the food, service and whole ambience, I highly recommend...
Read moreKontainer is very much a breakfast, lunch and brunch spot.
We had 3 dishes here. As we were hungry we didn’t take photo of one of the dishes as we ate it as soon as it arrived.
We had their big toast, 3 pieces of toast, one with avocado, one with aubergine and a third with hummus. Yummy.
We also had their savory French crepes with just the perfect combination of eggs, cheese and ham. Would definitely return just for this many many times.
Was so full already but the chocolate fondant cake looked amazing and we just had to order it with ice cream on top.
By far the best chocolate fondant between the islands of Phangan and Samui.
Highly recommend for travelers and island...
