POA — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

To be blunt it doesn't look like much more than a dusty shed with attached kitchen, and the wait time can be long, But I'll definitely be back again next time on the island and would recommend to anyone staying around here. The owner doesn't seem to speak much English or care about appearances but man she can cook some tasty food. It's just her alone and she seems to keep limited stock on site so some menu items may get vetoed but ask for what she can do and it'll probably be amazing. One of the best restaurants I have visited, the lady is amazing, so kind and so helpful and always with a smile. Didn’t have any problem to share her recipes which are so tasteful. She makes everything from scratch, you can see that she really loves what she is doing. While we were there a lot of locals were taking food to go, which for me that means a lot. Best thai dishes ever! Her food made me cried when I ate. Aunty Pao is an expert about seafood by nature, she knows how to cook different kind of fishes. The taste is originally southern thai. She cooks and prepares ingredients by herself all alone so the food meet her standard and of course it takes time. But I guarantee the wait is worth.
